About CAIYA

Who We Are?

The China-Africa International Youth Alliance (CAIYA) is a pan-continental organisation dedicated to finding, developing, connecting, and sustaining young entrepreneurs across Africa, China, and beyond. CAIYA is not a university club, a short-term training programme, or a one-off competition — it is a permanent, structured, continent-wide institution that a person joins as a university student and remains part of for the rest of their professional life.

CAIYA operates in two connected phases: it begins on university campuses through CAIYA Campus Chapters, and continues after graduation through full CAIYA professional membership, giving members access to industry connections, an investor network, and a lifelong continent-wide community of fellow entrepreneurs.

Why do this?

To be the world's leading organisation for young entrepreneurs bridging Africa and China — a continental and global platform that transforms student ambition into sustainable enterprise, and positions African and Asian youth as the architects of their shared economic future.

Our Mission

To develop entrepreneurial talent at the university level across Africa and globally, connect emerging entrepreneurs with industry leaders and investors, and provide a lifelong professional network that enables members to build, scale, and sustain impactful enterprises.
